You should prefer to ride in Paris on Sunday for better trafic conditions.

Go to Paris crossing Burgundy, where you will spend two nights in charming hotels.

The enjoy a day riding and two nights, to discover some of the main monuments and one of the most beautiful town in the world.

 

Day 1 :

Distance : 267 km

Riding time : 4h25

 We pick-up the rental motorcycle in Ville-la-Grand at Moto-Plaisir office, then we cross Geneva along the Lake Leman to start climbing on the Jura and the col de la Faucille. The road is less winding after Champagnole, then we go north-west towards Poligny, Seurre and Beaune in Burgundy, where the roads are more winding. We arrive in Saulieu for the night.

Day 2 :

Distance : 260 km

Riding time : 4h15

We leave Saulieu towards the north-west to reach Sens leaving Auxerre on your west. We leave Burgundy and its beautiful roads to end up in Paris in the 12th borough.

Day 3 :

Distance : 33 km

Riding time : about 2h00

Enjoy this day riding in Paris, and see the most popular monuments : Notre Dame, Eiffel tower, Arc de Triomphe, Sacré Cœur de Montmartre, Le Louvre, les Champs Elysées. You will not be able to visit everything in one day : do not hesitate to extend your stay ! Back at the same hotel and the 12th borough.

 

Day 4 :

Distance : 237 km

Riding time : 4h02

We leave Paris the east way for a part of the trip that is not the most interesting riding a motorcyle, but things are getting better after Provins and Troyes. We enter in Burgundy again when the road D671 becomes the D971.

Day 5 :

Distance : 292  km

Riding time : 5h01

We head on towards Geneva through the Burgundy countryside until Dole to enter in the Doubs, and cross the Jura.

This time it is with the col de la Givrine that we ride down to the shores of the lake Leman. We cross Geneva towards Ville-la-Grand to return the rental motorcycles.
